Citation Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2015 is created by sourcing fruit from the most promising blocks of our Erratic Oaks Vineyard. Carefully selected lots are fermented separately, punched-down twice daily, and after seven to twelve days of fermentation, gently pressed to French oak barrels and aged for the next sixteen months. The best barrels are then chosen to produce this small quantity of deep, darkly-colored, luscious Pinot Noir.
Citation Willamette Valley Pinot Noir has aromas of dark cherries, raspberries, blueberries, violets and cloves that join rich flavors of cocoa butter, vanilla and allspice. Fine, silky tannins frame the long lingering finish.
