This ICON wine carries the imprint of the winery's terroir. Trisagio is in turn the sum of our best grapes and contains three of our varieties in tha same amount: Malbec, Petit Verdot and Tannat. The grapes were selected and harvested at the right time with the goal of producing Trisagio. The wine spent over 18 months in new french oak barrels and rested in the bottle at least one more year.
With pure blackberry aromas and earthy subtleties, this is showing a lot for the price. The palate on this blend of Malbec, Petit Verdot and Tannat is grabby but under control, while flavors of coffee, licorice, mint and black fruits conclude on a spicy, complex, mildly oaky finish with modest clamp and tannic bite.
