Always B Sweet Red - Pfalz

always b red

The Ruppertsberger Winzerverein Hoheburg is a fusion of the regional association and vintners' union in 1968. The wine cellar's name comes from a medieval fortress, which stood on Ruppertsberg area until the 14th century. Probably the fortress was built on the foundation wall of an ancient Roman fortress, where wine for the Roman soldiers was produced nearly 2000 years ago. Today roundabout 86 wine growers deliever their yield to the association. A cultivation area of 450 ha covers sites directly in Ruppertsberg, but also in the neighbour towns Königsbach/Mußbach, Meckenheim and Deidesheim.

This Dornfelder is a very drinkable and soft red wine that stands out through its fine sweetness. At the Deutschen Weinstraße (German wine street) in the Palatinate region rises the mountain, Ruppertsberg, where there lies the quality terroir, 'Linsenbusch', the home of this delicious Dornfelder.
