Mill Creek has been making Merlot from it's estate vineyards since 1976. This follows in the classic Mill Creek Estate style. This wine originates from the vineyard across the driveway from the Tasting Room in Southern Dry Creek Valley. Dry Creek Merlot is known for its soft, silky texture and approachable flavors of ripe plum, red and black cherry and raspberry. In a cool climate, you may find earthier notes alongside dried herbs, tobacco and tar. 33% new American oak barrels and aged for approximately 18 months.
