Description

superfecta

The story of Seabiscuit lives on in the heart of America. Everyone loves the tale of this stocky, knobby-kneed racehorse who triumphed over adversity to become one of the greatest champions of the 20th century. During the 1930s, as America struggled to overcome the Great Depression, the determined spirit of this unlikely victor reflected the mood of the nation. After setting a track record at Santa Anita in 1940, the spectacular racing career of this legendary Thoroughbred came to an end. Seabiscuit was retired to a ranch in Mendocino County's Redwood Valley, where his memory inspires our winemaking endeavors. Superfecta is known for its powerful structure and deep avors. Fruits and berries, such as plum and black- currant, describe the avors of this wine and the textures are derived from the moderate tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
